Nine Days of Practice, Study and Transformation

An intimate immersion with Kia Miller

The Baja Immersion brings together a small group of dedicated practitioners and teachers for nine days of practice, study, and in-person learning with Kia Miller.

It is designed to inspire and accelerate your practice, opening you to a deeper understanding of not only what each practice offers, but why it works. You leave with greater confidence and subtlety in your practice, and if you teach, more depth and capacity to speak from your own direct experience. This is where yoga teaching becomes a transmission rather than just a class.

Why Radiant Body Yoga

Practices that are often taught separately, brought together as one integrated path.

Asana, Kundalini kriya, pranayama, mantra, meditation, yoga nidra, and philosophy. Here they are woven together, and you begin to experience how one prepares you for the next, the movement from gross to subtle.

You begin to know which practice to use, when to use it, and what it is capable of opening in you. These relationships become your guide, in your own practice and in what you offer others.

For nine days, we explore these questions through practice...

Why has yoga endured for thousands of years?
What makes vinyasa such a powerful way to open and strengthen the body?
How do kriyas actually work, and why can they be so transformative?
What is the relationship between mantra and meditation?
How do you access a meditative mind when you thought meditation simply wasn't for you?

Why Immersion

When you give yourself enough time to stay with the practice, profound change and insights emerge. Each morning begins in practice. Afterward there is time to reflect on your experience of the postures, breath, and mind. Kriyas and asanas are explored in depth, and questions asked while the experience is still fresh. You study why a sequence works, then take it back into practice and feel the teaching for yourself.

Over several days, repetition supports understanding and your experience deepens. You start to notice patterns you would ordinarily miss. You feel where you hold back. You discover where you have more capacity than you thought. This is where breakthroughs and insights naturally arise.

There is something that happens when we practice together in person that is difficult to replicate online. You feel the strength of the group. You go further than you might on your own. You learn through someone else's breakthrough as much as your own. And after several days together, you begin to notice the practice showing up beyond the mat, in how you listen, how you speak, how you respond, and how you move through your life.

Finding Your Voice

Part of this immersion is learning how to speak from a different place.

From the navel — where there is strength and direction.

From the heart — where there is connection.

From intuition — where you begin to trust what needs to be said and what does not.

You will practice projecting without forcing, using breath to support your voice, speaking clearly to a room, letting silence and pause carry meaning, and remaining connected to yourself while being fully seen.

For teachers, this can completely change the way you lead. For everyone, it is a chance to find a more honest, grounded, and authentic voice.

Your Guides

Kia Miller
Kia Miller is the founder of Radiant Body Yoga and one of the most respected yoga teachers of her generation. Drawing from a lifetime of dedicated study across the Hatha, Kundalini, Tantra, and Himalayan traditions, she has distilled the most powerful and relevant teachings of these lineages into a single, cohesive system designed to meet the modern practitioner exactly where they are.

With 25 years of teaching experience and months of every year spent in personal sadhana and retreat, Kia teaches from direct experience rather than theory. Her work moves seamlessly between the physical and the subtle, grounding ancient teachings in the science of the nervous system, the intelligence of the heart, and the lived reality of a dedicated practice. She is as devoted to her own awakening as she is to the development of the teachers she trains. Her students go on to teach thousands of their own students worldwide, creating a ripple effect of transformation that extends far beyond the mat.

RBY Mentors

Our mentors are fully certified RBY alumni and active practicing teachers with decades of shared experience. Each student is assigned a dedicated mentor for personalised support, group practice, and guidance throughout the full duration of training.
