Seven days in one of the most nourishing settings on earth. The ocean below, the jungle around you, and a daily rhythm of practices that restore your energy, deepen your inner connection, and bring you back into a more vital relationship with life. Come immerse yourself in a week of yoga, breathwork, meditation, rest, and community, with the space to listen more closely to yourself and reconnect with your inner knowing.
Blue Spirit sits high above the Pacific Ocean beside a protected white-sand beach in Nosara, on Costa Rica's Nicoya Peninsula, one of the world's recognized Blue Zones. It is an extraordinary setting for deep practice, renewal, and a more intimate relationship with the natural world.
Through practice, community, rest, and the natural intelligence of this land, you will feel a deep shift in your nervous system, your energy, and the way you perceive yourself and others. You have space to see your life from a different vantage point and allow new insight and inspiration to arise, returning home with renewed vitality and a deeper connection to the intelligence within you.
Every element of the week is designed to work together.
From sunrise sadhana to evening gatherings, from deep practice to long afternoons by the ocean, the rhythm of each day gives you both the intensity of immersion and the space to integrate what is unfolding.
Daily Practice
Vinyasa flow, Kundalini kriya, breathwork, mantra, and meditation work together to build vitality, shift your state, focus the mind, and expand awareness.
Rest & Reflection
Long afternoons and intentional periods of deep relaxation give the body and nervous system time to restore, alongside dharma talks offering philosophical insight into what you are experiencing.
Conscious Community
Share the journey with a like-hearted group of practitioners. Practice together, eat together, exchange experience, and discover how much becomes possible when we are supported by community.
Immersion Into the Land
Let the outer landscape become part of the practice: slow walks along the beach, nature meditation, ocean swims, jungle air, and time beneath an immense tropical sky.
Dedicated Sadhana
Begin each morning together before sunrise. This daily sadhana creates a powerful continuity through the week, allowing the practice to build day by day.
Ongoing Connection
Continue practicing and integrating what you have experienced through the RBY App and community after you return home.
There is a different quality of perception that becomes available when you give yourself enough time.
Away from the pace and demands of everyday life, the nervous system has room to restore. The body begins to replenish. The mind becomes clearer and new insights arise.
You may begin to recognize what has been draining your energy, what you are ready to move beyond, or what is asking for more of your attention. You may reconnect with parts of yourself that have been obscured by habit, responsibility, or sheer momentum.
The intention of this retreat is not to escape your life, but to return to it with greater vitality, perspective, and connection to what is true for you now.
Kia Miller is the founder of Radiant Body Yoga and one of the most respected yoga teachers of her generation. Drawing from a lifetime of dedicated study across the Hatha, Kundalini, Tantra, and Himalayan traditions, she has distilled the most powerful and relevant teachings of these lineages into a single, cohesive system designed to meet the modern practitioner exactly where they are.
With 25 years of teaching experience and months of every year spent in personal sadhana and retreat, Kia teaches from direct experience rather than theory. Her work moves seamlessly between the physical and the subtle, grounding ancient teachings in the science of the nervous system, the intelligence of the heart, and the lived reality of a dedicated practice. She is as devoted to her own awakening as she is to the development of the teachers she trains. Her students go on to teach thousands of their own students worldwide, creating a ripple effect of transformation that extends far beyond the mat.
Who is this retreat for?
This retreat is an all-levels retreat and Kia encourages all to attend who simply wish to deepen their practice and be together in conscious community.
Where is Blue Spirit Located?
Blue Spirit is located in the beautiful beach community of Nosara on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast, within the Nicoya Peninsula — one of the world's recognized Blue Zones known for longevity and wellbeing. Perched on a hillside overlooking the ocean and a protected white-sand beach, Blue Spirit offers a serene setting surrounded by tropical nature and breathtaking sunsets.
Which airport do I fly into?
The closest airport to fly into is Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport (LIR). This is the closest major international airport to Blue Spirit and is approximately a 2.5–3 hour scenic drive from the retreat center in Nosara. Blue Spirit also offers shared shuttle transportation on Saturdays, the primary retreat arrival and departure day.
When should I arrive?
We recommend arriving before dinner, 6pm, on Saturday, November 28, 2026. We realize this is not always possible and it is no problem if you arrive late. Our retreat ends after morning practice on Saturday, December 5, 2026.
Perched on a hillside above the Pacific, Blue Spirit opens onto jungle, ocean, and a three-mile stretch of protected white-sand beach.
Practice spaces look out across the trees toward the water, while winding paths lead through tropical grounds to the pool and beach below.
There is a particular rhythm to life here: early mornings, warm ocean swims, nourishing meals shared together, expansive afternoons, spectacular sunsets, and the feeling of being surrounded by nature.
Located on Costa Rica's Nicoya Peninsula, one of the world's recognized Blue Zones, Blue Spirit has become one of Costa Rica's most respected destinations for yoga, meditation, personal growth, and contemplative practice.
